Overseer Calvin & Pastor Marilyn Williams was born again at the early age of twenty-one and nineteen. Being faithful to the ministries that God had led them, they have served and learned the value of prayer, the integrity of God's Word, the importance of being Spirit filled and Spirit led, and revelation knowledge that God has revealed unto them indivitually. Over the course of thirty-two years there has been monumental teachers of the gospel that have made a major impact as they humbly sat at their feet as they guided, encouraged, and poured out the Word of Truth.
Fourteen years ago in the month of August of 1992, Pastor Williams began the Ministry of Helps Foundation, Inc. This ministry was created to reach the diverse needs of God's people near and far; she especially reaches a host of Pastors and leaders to honor and love on them. She is a special gift to the Body of Christ.
The gift of teaching and leading was evident upon her life and she was led by the Holy Spirit to erect a new edifice with no members. Prior, she was called and chosen to serve in the ministry of Jesus Christ in the office of "Pastor" and through faithful obedience; she has been elevated and anointed to operate as an "Apostle" in God's Kingdom.
God's plan for further enrichment has led Apostle Williams to branch out in diverse areas of ministry and in the lives of influential people that God has set up across the globe.
Apostle Marilyn Williams and her beloved husband, who she loves and esteems highly, both walk and work as an Apostolic Team in the Body of Christ. Apostle Calvin Williams is Pastor's covering and her life long partner spiritually and naturally. They've been united in Holy Matrimony for thirty-three years and they are the proud parents of two sons whom they adore.
Presently, the Apostles labor together in ministry at Bread of Life Fellowship Center of Hamden, CT. Since 1998, in addition to the Ministry of Helps Foundation, the children/youth church, school and recreations, our nursery, the young adults' ministry, the Outreach Ministries including Bread of Life's "New Approach" facility for men and soon women and children, the music ministry, the school systems in the Greater New Haven Area and beyond, Transportation Department, Conferences and Seminars held and several other ministries within ministries. As Bread of Life launches out into the deeper things of God, the Apostles through Christ has been qualified and commissioned to build a generation of people that cannot be destroyed. God has given the Apostles a vision that goes beyond the walls, beyond the scope, reaching familiar and unfamiliar territories worldwide.
Apostles' Calvin & Marilyn Williams has been adhering to the will of God and there are many other projects in progress, to name a few; facilitating the other remaining rooms of our 36 room building God has blessed us with, the development of Bread of Life Faith City Center, and the continual search for property to build upon. Both Apostles are first partakers in word and deeds; they put their hands to the plow as they Kingdom Build. Their expectancy has led to divine continuity in Christ Jesus.
